Description
This is a front desk position at a busy outpatient physical and occupational therapy clinic. Primary responsibilities include: phone answering, appointment scheduling, patient check-in, co-pay collection, and other general administrative tasks to support clinic operations.
Salary range: 25.60-36.33 hourly
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with prior experience in a customer service environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Ability to work as a member of a team, including sharing knowledge, giving and receiving feedback, taking initiative to assist others, problem solving and providing an atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Skill in working in distracting and pressured environments with flexibility, good concentration, and minimal supervision.
- Skill in setting priorities with fluctuating demands and workloads.
- Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction.
