Child Care Worker
Staff will be responsible for providing childcare for children of UConnectCare, Inc., patients and recoverees, monitoring the safety of children in care, and engaging children in care in age-appropriate play and learning experiences. This will include teaching basic concepts (such as good hygiene practices, manners, etc.). and reading to, counting with, and singing with children. Staff will be expected to change soiled diapers and/or clothing as needed, ensure each child is fed while in care, and monitor each child for any signs of illness or cause for concern. Children in care will range from six weeks to school age.
Applicants must be 18 year os age or older. A High School Diploma or its equivalent is strongly preferred. Prior experience in childcare is preferred.
This position is supervised by the Child Care Supervisor. Occasional travel from locations between Batavia and Albion is required. Valid NYS drivers licnese and mehtod of transportation is required. Must be free of active addiction, including tobacco. Pre employment bacground check/post offere drug screening required. EOE CARF & NHSC accredited.

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
