Oilfield Environmental Control Technician :
This is a seasonal hourly position. Compensation is dependent on experience and skills. Fully furnished lodging will be provided.
Projects include large infrastructure development such as powerlines, pipelines, mines, wind farms, and oil and gas fields. Job includes reclamation, restoration, or remediation needs in energy and mining industries and state and federal agencies.
Projects and duties include :
- Identify weeds and native plants (training will be provided).
- Manage weeds using truck, ATV / UTV, or backpack mounted herbicide spray equipment.
- Safely mix herbicides according to manufacturer labels
- Assist with erosion control installation and projects. (wattles, sediment barriers, silt fences, etc.).
- Assist with maintenance of existing erosion control measures.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments to identify erosion risks.
- Navigate, Identify, map, and document soil erosion features.
- Update inspection and repair documentation in a digital data management system.
- Assist with other reclamation projects.
