UDig is seeking a visionary leader to take our Data & Analytics practice to new heights. As the VP of Data & Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of UDig, helping us to scale and elevate our solutions and team. You will leverage your extensive consulting experience in data architecture, engineering, governance, and advanced analytics to lead UDig's data practice in delivering exceptional data and analytics solutions for clients. You will build a thriving team of data professionals, drive strategic initiatives, support business development efforts, and forge strategic partnerships across the organization, making an immediate impact and setting up UDig for future success.

Your Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and refine strategies and service offerings for the Data & Analytics Practice aligned with company goals and client needs, driving innovation by incorporating new analytics, machine learning (ML), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) offerings at UDig.
  • Architect and implement client appropriate data solutions for Fortune 500 clients, ensuring adherence to development best practices and coding standards to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Lead the development of data strategies for clients, including data warehousing, ETL processes, cloud migrations, and data governance.
  • Support business development efforts by engaging with existing and potential clients as well as supporting efforts to build brand presence (e.g. written content, speaking at events, and other communication channels to showcasing our offerings).
  • Mentor emerging leaders and cultivate an environment where data consultants are empowered to excel through coaching, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Partner with senior leadership and executive team members on key strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with the Employee Success team, including recruiting, to develop and grow Data & Analytics Practice.
  • Contribute to innovative internal UDig projects.

What You'll Need : Core Competencies :

  • Expertise leading a data practice and influencing strategic decisions.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, guiding the development of solutions for complex challenges.
  • Ability to drive impactful projects and initiatives, achieving exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Strong executive influence and consultative skills to manage client projects and drive business growth.
  • Skills & Qualifications :

  • 10 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, governance, and advanced analytics.
  • 3-5 years of experience leading and developing teams in a professional services organization with the ability to drive results around utilization, margin, and employee engagement.
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting firm or professional services firm, including contributions to thought leadership and pre-sales support, is required.
  • Strong technical skills and expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), data warehousing, ETL processes, data engineering tools, data governance, and machine learning technologies. (e.g. Databricks, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, SQL Server).
  • Excellent communication, executive presence, and interpersonal skills to :
  • Build strong partnerships with client stakeholders and senior leadership.

  • Present technical ideas and high-level concepts to internal and external team members with varying degrees of technical knowledge.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, IT, MIS, Systems Engineering, data science or related field.
