What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Diver - Nuclear Facilities position at UESI?
UESI is actively hiring commercial divers interested in full-time and part-time divers / tender opportunities in the Monticello, MN, and Fort Pierce, FL areas. Divers will work underwater with surface-supplied air gear. You will inspect, repair, remove, or install coatings, equipment, and / or structures. Divers will use various power and hand tools, such as drills, hammers, torches, and welding equipment.
Divers will be required to travel to job sites as needed and may have the opportunity to perform work at other job sites throughout the US and Japan. Divers will earn a competitive wage and can expect to work various schedules based on the client and project demands.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
- The proper functionality of personal diving equipment and its suitability for planned dives is required.
- Ensure all necessary safety measures for diving activities are met.
- Demonstrate competency in executing assigned tasks and a thorough understanding of the dive plan to be executed.
- Observe and obey all routine and emergency procedures.
- Recognize and promptly report all equipment faults, potential hazards, near misses, and / or accidents.
- Perform topside and underwater rigging as required in the dive plan.
- Ensure the directives of the diving supervisor, including the setup and operation equipment.
