Under the direction of the Director/Manager/ Charge Nurse/ and RNs, the Surgical Technologist is responsible for providing an aseptic environment within the perioperative arena. Surgical conscience is of the utmost importance. Must be well versed in the basics of routine surgical and diagnostic cases. This position is for the CVOR team that requires work experience in CVOR. This position requires on call work rotation for week nights and weekends urgent/emergent open heart cases.
Shift M-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm.
This is a Full Time, Day Shift position eligible for a sign on bonus.
Qualifications:Education
Post High School Special Training
Licensure/Certification/Registration
Surgical Technology Certification required or LPN license
BLS
recent CVOR CST experience highly preferred
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
