Job Opening Summary
Provides consulting, classroom-based and individualized training, preparation and ongoing support for Epic Ambulatory implementation for ACU managers, physicians and staff. Performs needs assessments and creates high-quality electronic medical record (EMR) course materials and reference resources in response to organizational needs. Responds to requests for assistance from end users, including physicians. Communicates effectively and on a timely basis to provide information regarding workflow, processes, functionality and frequent changes in the Epic system to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to UFP policies and procedures. Incumbent must attain Epic Credentialed Trainer status within 90 days of hire.
Job Opening Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required (preference given to graduates of degree programs stressing one or more of these key areas: communications, education, nursing, business, health care management).
- Minimum of one year of work experience in a related field, preferably in an ambulatory medical practice setting.
- Exceptional candidate will possess both technical and end-user knowledge of electronic medical records.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of clinical care providers, as well as technical professionals, to include strong written and oral communication skills and the correct use of grammar, clear articulation of ideas, clear understanding of health care patient documentation, strong marketing skills, poise and the ability to portray confidence in the material presented.
- Must be able to actively problem solve.
- Must portray a very professional appearance and expert knowledge in adult learning.
- Exceptional individuals who do not possess a bachelor's degree yet possess the above characteristics and who have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience performing the above described work may be considered.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver."
NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
Minimum Pay Rate - Hourly: $29.03
Midpoint Pay Rate - Hourly: $39.79
