What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Data Abstractor-NSQIP I Clinical Analytics I Days position at UF Health?
Status: FULL-TIME
FTE: 1.0
Shift Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM
Days of Week: MONDAY-FRIDAY
Collects and submits specified data in an accurate and timely manner. Serves as the NSQIP database resource. Disseminates NSQIP data and report findings to stakeholders. Supports NSQIP quality improvement initiatives and/or research studies.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in a clinical health-related field is required.
- A master's degree or two years of related experience with the care of pediatric/adult surgical cases is preferred.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Must be familiar with databases and electronic health records.
- Must possess sound oral and written communication skills including clear articulation of ideas, proper grammar and spelling and poise and professional appearance.
- Attention to detail and follow-up is necessary.
- Quality Improvement knowledge and experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Clinicians must have an active RN, RRT, or CRRT in the state of Florida.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position: Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
