Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), finance, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
- Minimum of 10 years of senior-level financial management experience in a large, complex organization, preferably within healthcare or academia.
- Demonstrated experience in financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and compliance oversight.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing and motivating diverse teams.
- Proficiency in financial management systems and software, with an ability to implement and oversee new technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the financial challenges and opportunities within academic health systems.
