SVP System Controller

Overview

The Senior Vice President, System Controller at UF Health will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, overseeing the organization’s financial operations and ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting and systems. This role will drive strategic financial reporting, and operational initiatives to support UF Health's mission of education, research, and patient care.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and financial excellence within a dynamic academic health system.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA), finance, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
• Minimum of 10 years of senior-level financial management experience in a large, complex organization, preferably within healthcare or academia.
• Demonstrated experience in financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and compliance oversight.

• Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the financial challenges and opportunities within academic health systems.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation (Required):

• Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'
