As a UFP Industries Deckorators Field Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence and driving business growth through effective engagement with stores, contractors, and customers. You will be responsible for organizing and conducting Product Knowledge (PK) events, collaborating with stores and contractors, and providing valuable support in various aspects of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Product Knowledge (PK) Events:
Organize and lead engaging PK events at retail locations and in the field.
Foster strong relationships with stores and contractors to enhance product understanding and utilization.
Project Material List Generation:
Collaborate with stores and contractors to create comprehensive project material lists.
Act as a resource to address product technical queries from stores and contractors.
Lead Generation and Sales Support:
Actively seek new leads by promoting and introducing new products and services.
Utilize the store Special Orders program to generate additional leads.
Pass leads to Account Managers and actively contribute to the sales process when required.
Field Visits and Schedule Management:
Conduct scheduled visits to contractors and stores based on proposal schedules.
Maintain a proactive approach in meeting with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Reporting and Correspondence:
Prepare comprehensive reports and correspondence as required to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
Skills and Abilities:
Communication Proficiency:
Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
Interact effectively with diverse organizational levels and the public.
Task Management:
Exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
Set priorities effectively and consistently meet deadlines.
