Job Summary:
Level II Press Operators are responsible for the production of a quality product in the most efficient manner possible.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Complete press set-up with little to no assistance.
Capable of running 0-3 color jobs.
Ensure quality in the items they produce.
Perform weekly periodic maintenance of all equipment used in Production.
Notify the Production Supervisor of any problems or questions with equipment.
Be agile, moving to where the work is if necessary and as directed by the Production Supervisor.
Keep production area clean, neat, and organized.
Work with pre-production individuals as a team, and with respect.
Effectively and efficiently manage time.
Physical Requirements and Trainings:
Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs.
A minimum of one month of shadowing and being observed by the Production Supervisor or a Level IV Press Operator.
Completion of the Press Operator Training Checklist.
Press Operators must be able to pass a test for color vision deficiency.
Training on each of the following procedures: Pr-4.2-02, Pr-7.5-02, Pr-7.6-01, Pr-8.3-01, Pr-8.5-01.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED preferred.
Successful experience in the print or packaging industry. Time in a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
