Job Summary :

UFP Industries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced web developer with a strong background in full-stack development to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern web technologies, best practices, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable web applications. This role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining our web applications, collaborating with other developers, and contributing to the strategic direction of our web development efforts. This position is a full-time, onsite position, based out of Grand Rapids, MI (not a remote position).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain both the front-end and back-end components of web applications using .NET, C#, and modern front-end frameworks.
Collaborate with developers, UI / UX designers, and product owners to define project requirements and deliverables.
Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
Develop server-side logic, APIs, and databases to support front-end functionality.
Troubleshoot and debug full-stack applications across multiple layers to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following industry best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices, ensuring our solutions remain innovative and cutting-edge.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5 years of professional web development experience.

Proficiency in primary programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript).

Experience with relevant backend frameworks and tools (e.g., ASP.NET Core, Node.js).

Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React).

Experience in Agile / Scrum development processes.

Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure Pipelines).

Preferred experience with cloud platforms (Azure).

Preferred familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI / CD, Docker, etc.).

Preferred familiarity with responsive design and mobile / tablet-first web development.

Preferred knowledge and experience with Windows and Microsoft Office Components including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Proficient in the use of the English language in reading, writing and speaking.
