Job Summary
Under the direction of the Stores Supervisor perform clerical and manual work associated with the receiving, issuing, storing, transferring, and reclamation of materials, supplies, and equipment handled by the Stores Department. This seasonal employee will help with all warehouse duties during the summer months when summer vacations occur and the amount of materials flowing in and out of the warehouse increases.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs the physical handling of materials, supplies, and equipment, including loading and unloading to or from transportation media, placing in or removing from storage, and arranging the materials on shelves or into material bins. This does require heavy lifting and heavy physical exertion and the operation of hand trucks and pallet movers.
- Processes material issues, material returns, and receipts using the SAP inventory system and bar-code devices.
- Assemble and stage materials and equipment for jobs for field crews and contractors.
- Help maintain an orderly and clean warehouse.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good computer skills.
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy objects.

- High School Diploma
