Job Summary
UGI Energy Services has an immediate opening for an IT/OT Technician. This is a full-time permanent position. The individual will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the computer systems and network associated with our Industrial Control System. This will include imaging, patching, and system backups. Additionally, the employee will administer Active Directory and maintain control system reliability utilizing IT management software and monitoring tools such as Ivanti and SolarWinds. The employee will also be responsible for ensuring network uptime and availability. A company vehicle is provided to the technician to travel between sites. The work schedule is flexible, but the typical day is 7am – 4pm Monday through Friday and may require occasional overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Comply with company and OSHA safety requirements
- Maintain a wide range of technologies associated with business and control systems, including:
- Active Directory/Group Policies/Domain Controllers
- Physical and Virtual Windows Servers
- Cisco Switch and Firewall
- Backup System and Recovery
- Patching on Servers and Industrial Control Systems
- Anti-Virus
- Maintaining architectural and systems documentation
- Collaborate closely with others on the design, implementation, and architectural changes
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Possession of a valid class C driver's license
- Have and maintain a clean driving record
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Pass periodic random drug screenings
- Able to comprehend and communicate in the English language
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed verbal instructions
- Must have good inter-personnel communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently or in a group environment
- Solid working knowledge of Windows PC and Server Operating Systems
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience with Industrial Control Systems (PLC, SCADA, etc.)
- Experience with industrial environments and associated technologies
- Knowledge of database architectures, queries, and maintenance with such database technologies as MS-SQL
- Cyber-security experience
Education and Experience
- 3 years of IT industry experience
