Manager Job Description
General Description:
The Manager plays a critical role in the success of the restaurant by leading daily operations, supervising team members, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. This position is responsible for supporting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in driving operational excellence, fostering team development, and achieving financial and service goals.

Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise daily FOH and BOH operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards.
Oversee food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency to maintain brand integrity.
Enforce compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Handle opening and closing duties, including cash handling and end-of-day reporting.
Lead, motivate, and support team members to deliver outstanding service and achieve goals.
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and developing team members.
Conduct pre-shift meetings to align the team on goals and service expectations.
Provide on-the-spot coaching and feedback to ensure team success.
Deliver exceptional guest service by modeling a positive and engaging attitude.
Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business.
Support the General Manager in managing labor costs and maintaining inventory levels.
Monitor sales performance and suggest strategies to increase revenue.
Ensure accurate cash management and adherence to financial policies.
Collaborate with the bar team to ensure beverage quality, consistency, and inventory control.
Uphold compliance with alcohol service laws and company standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong leadership and team-building abilities with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with bar operations is a plus.
Understanding of restaurant operations, including FOH and BOH workflows.
Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling tools, and inventory management.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per day.
Ability to lift and push 30 lbs.
