Sales Assistant (Tile/Design Industry)

Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support the design process by collaborating with the VP of Sales and contributing innovative ideas to generate revenue. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As a Sales Assistant, you are the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Support account management efforts by maintaining organized project files and documentation.
• Engage in business development activities, including calling current and potential clients and upselling existing products.
• Manage relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and addressing their needs effectively.
• Help negotiate project timelines and deliverables with clients and internal teams.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of B2B sales processes and territory sales strategies.
• Ability to conduct cold calling effectively to generate leads.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Passion for design, creativity, and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals.
