Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center (VBPC) is a 100-bed freestanding psychiatric hospital located near the beautiful resort area of Virginia Beach, Virginia; a short 10-minute drive to the ocean front. VBPC offers acute psychiatric and substance abuse services for adults 18 years and older. The hospital is accessible 24 hours a day for admissions, and includes mental health assessments and an excellent referral network. Treatment programs and specialty services at VBPC include substance abuse, dual diagnosis and partial hospitalization. Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center currently has a Part -Time Human Resources Coordinator position available.

Responsibilities:
Office Administration
-Maintain employee personnel files; create, filing documents and storing terminated employees’ files.
-Photocopying and filing.
-Ordering office supplies.
-Document and track compliance for required activities.
Recruiting
-Oversee ATS system/process for all applicants
-Forward resumes to hiring managers
- Oversee VBPC job postings on our career site and Indeed
-Schedule and facilitate new hire paperwork
-Onboarding preparation; personnel file set-up, prepare orientation packets, set up training space
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Mon-Fri 10a-2p Part -Time
Human Resources Coordinator
-Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-Minimum of one year of administrative experience.
-Preferred: One year of experience in human resources or related field.
-Experience with recruiting and use of Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ICIMS preferred.
-Demonstrated proficiency utilizing office systems such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
