This position is benefits eligible.ShiftRotationalHours per week : 40Salary range : $26.13 - $40.53 per hour, depending on experience.OverviewExperienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000.Early-career candidates may qualify for up to $10,000 in tuition forgiveness.United Health Services is seeking a Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our Core Lab Team in Johnson City, NY. Performs clinical and / or anatomical analyses for routine, special, and automated tests. This is a BENEFITS-ELIGIBLE position.Under Supervision of the section supervisor, performs routine and specialized tests in clinical or pathology laboratory section in a timely manner according to UHS, Hospitals’, Infection Control, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and procedures, NYSDOH, CDC Blood and Bod Fluids policies and procedures. Priority is given to STAT testing and to tests that require immediate processing.The Laboratory Services Department at UHS Wilson Medical Center operates at a high volume and offers the most testing options among all of United Health Services’ laboratories. The lab serves both inpatient and outpatient needs at UHS Wilson Medical Center.QualificationsCertified Clinical Laboratory Technician Key Responsibilities and ExpectationsPerform clinical analyses for routine, special, and automated testsObtains data for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease as outlined in the procedural manual and as assigned by the section supervisor in section assigned.Recognizes abnormal results and takes proper action (alert / critical values).Observes reactions and makes qualitative or quantitative analyses .
