COMMUNITY RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

The Community Relations Representative is responsible for the implementing the facility’s strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve the facility’s business development goals. The Community Relations Representative must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication.

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed hospital offering inpatient services for female adolescents, adults, older adults, military/veterans and their families. Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System has a spacious cafeteria, gymnasium, art/activity room, group rooms, classrooms and other areas to create a pleasant atmosphere for patients and their families. Position Summary:

The Community Relations Representative is responsible for implementing the facility’s strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and working to achieve the facility’s business development goals. Additionally, this position requires bi-weekly travel to Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System in Radcliff, KY, for team meetings. The Community Relations Representative must be able to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication.

Education and/ or experience: Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Services, Marketing/Public Relations/ Counseling or related field with 3 years of healthcare marketing/sales experience in related field. Psychiatric health care marketing experience preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Generating calls into the facility for all program service lines thorough the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods.
• Develops and maintains an updated profile of assigned accounts with current activity.
• Makes minimum number of face to face contacts daily as defined by Director of Business Development.
• Accurately qualifies accounts as A, B, or C for business potential
• Develops a strategic plan on a quarterly basis to implement within assigned territory.
• Contacts customers currently utilizing services at least quarterly to inquire about satisfaction with services and need for additional services.
• Utilizes industry, competitor and census data/information to identify markets and customers within territory to develop business.
• Exhibit at local conferences/trade shows to promote service lines and execute customer contacts.

Salary : $11
