Job Summary:

Southwest Healthcare is seeking a Temporary HR Assistant who will be responsible for assisting the Regional HR department with administrative projects and overall support.  This individual must be resourceful and flexible to meet the ever-changing needs of the HR department, and must be self-motivated, well organized, able to multi-task, handle sensitive material and maintain confidentiality.  This position will be onsite at the Regional Office in Temecula, CA.  Duties include but not limited to:

  • Create and maintain personnel records and filing system
  • Assist with Recruitment and onboarding
  • Create new hire packets
  • Conduct OIG verifications for multiple sites
  • Various HR administrative projects
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Assignment will be three (3) months, depending on business needs.
  • Work schedule will be Monday-Friday, from 8:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE: 

  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • One (1) to Two (2) years of Human Resources administrative experience required

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

  • None

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 

  • Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with the Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
  • Demonstrates compliance with Healthcare policies and procedures at all times.
  • Ability to set priorities and appropriately organize workload and complete assignments in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
  • Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrates ability to maintain positive relationships and courteous interactions with hospital staff and the public.
