We are currently seeking an Infection Control Nurse – Patient Advocate who is responsible for the management and coordination of infection control activities hospital-wide. In addition, the IC-Patient Advocate investigates, resolves, documents and reports organization-specific patient and visitor complaints and concerns to leadership and ensure resolution. The Patient Advocate actively participates in the development and implementation of customer service and patient relations initiatives related to the facility’s mission and goals.
Qualifications
Experience/Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Current license to practice nursing in Illinois (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Preferred one to three years of experience working in a psychiatric inpatient setting with patients aged 5-65yrs .
