What are the responsibilities and job description for the SOCIAL WORKER (PRN) position at UHS?
The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Roxbury Treatment Center and the NASW. Roxbury is looking for a per diem social worker to assist our Social Services department on an as-needed basis. Possibility of more regular hours in April 2024.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient’s mental health and drug and alcohol history; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan.
- Developing realistic and measurable short and long term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.

Qualifications
Social Work Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Social Work or other related field preferred, with a practicum in health or human service agency preferred. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in Social Work required.
