Summary: We are seeking a Tax Manager to oversee clients, support internal leaders, and contribute to our office's growth in Wayland, MA. The Tax Manager will review financial information, manage client relationships, and lead internal staff.
Responsibilities:
• Review tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals
• Handle special projects, including tax audits, transaction structuring, and tax planning strategies
• Facilitate advanced tax research and resolve complex tax issues
• Provide feedback, training, and mentoring to staff
• Lead multiple tax engagements within budget and timeline
• Develop, motivate, and train staff
• Demonstrate advanced tax technical knowledge for client advising and expertise
• Participate in firm marketing, recruiting, and team-building efforts
• Adhere to firm policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Public accounting or professional services environment preferred
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or recognized business credential
• Bachelor's in Accounting (for Audit or Tax)
• Must be a CPA for Audit, Tax Accounting; respective certification for IT audit, consulting
• Maintain required CPE credits annually
• Legal / Compliance: complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document
• Government engagements require ability to obtain a security clearance from the United States government
