We are seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead and oversee our clients, while supporting internal leaders in the Great Lakes Region.
As a Tax Senior Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing financial information for clients, including business and individual tax returns. This role offers exposure to a diverse client base across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals
- Manage special projects, such as tax audits and implementation of tax planning strategies
- Conduct advanced tax research and resolve complex tax issues
- Provide feedback, training, and mentoring to staff
- Lead multiple tax engagements from start to finish
- Develop lasting relationships with clients
- Motivate and train staff, serving as a mentor and role model
- Demonstrate advanced tax technical knowledge
- Participate in marketing, recruiting, and team-building efforts
Requirements:
- 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Must be a CPA and maintain required CPE credits annually
- May require equivalent certification for other disciplines
