We're partnering with a national, PE-backed firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA, as they undergo a major NetSuite implementation and continue rapid growth. With key leadership transitions and an evolving accounting environment, the team is seeking a hands-on accounting consultant to support both daily accounting operations and internal readiness for their new ERP system.
Responsibilities
- Perform core month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, financial schedules, and variance analysis.
- Support project-based accounting, including accruals and percent complete revenue recognition (ASC 606).
- Assist with AP and AR processes, utilizing systems such as Stampli (AP) and Bullhorn (time and labor tracking).
- Collaborate with external auditors by preparing schedules and documentation to support audit.
- Help guide the client through process improvements and documentation of SOPs in preparation for the NetSuite implementation.
- Participate in the design of future-state accounting workflows and provide feedback to the NetSuite implementation team.
- Support NetSuite data migration, chart of accounts development, and project reporting structure setup.
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system outputs and ensure alignment with accounting requirements.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Adapt to evolving priorities in a high-growth, PE-backed environment while contributing to both operational excellence and system transformation.
Required Experience, Education, and Credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting
- 10 years of accounting experience, particularly with growing mid-sized companies
- Experience supervising and managing teams while being hands-on in day-to-day accounting functions
- Strong end user of NetSuite
- Expert Excel skills: VLOOKUP, Macros, VBA Etc.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE
-Resource Solutions Consultants are paid for every hour worked and time and a half for overtime, unlike traditional employment where professionals at this level are exempt from earning overtime pay.
