What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intercompany Billing Coordinator position at UHY-US?
A great UHY client is seeking an Intercompany Billing Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, good communication skills, and some billing/AP knowledge.
The Intercompany Billing Coordinator role is a hybrid position, with 3 days each week being in office. This is a client direct hire position.
Intercompany Billing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Review AR/AP/Trial balance month end for variances.
- Propose journal entries to the Agency/Shared Service Center for review & approval.
- Review journal entries with appropriate backups.
- Generate and track intercompany balances for multiple agencies.
- Download matching report in Hyperion financial management.
- Partner with agencies and GL for month end close.
- Facilitate and support SOX Compliance testing as well as internal and external audits.
- Always manage respective projects.
- Build strong relationships with the agency teams.
Intercompany Billing Coordinator Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting – or comparable job experience
- 2-year experience within billing or finance /accounting background preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional proficiency in Excel and Outlook
- Strong understanding of general financial terminology
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects as well as daily operational deadlines.
- Ability to interpret contracts between agencies and clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional attitude and service orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of the highest standards.
