The University of Iowa Center for Advancement (UICA) works to support the University of Iowa through engagement and philanthropy and is seeking an Advancement Program Coordinator to join the Performing Arts at Iowa development team.

The Advancement Program Coordinator is integral to future fundraising success and will join this team as an administrative leader and key member of the fundraising team. They will be primarily responsible for, in collaboration with the Executive and Associate Directors, Hancher-focused administrative needs and annual as well as leadership giving.
This position reports directly to the Executive Director, Performing Arts at Iowa at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement and works closely with UICA colleagues and campus leadership, staff, and donors.

Job Description:
This role provides high-level administrative support for the Performing Arts at Iowa program with a focus on Hancher Auditorium’s needs, coordinating complex projects independently and working closely with campus partners. The position requires strong organizational, Excel, and Word experience, research, and communication skills to effectively support the program and its initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing project plan templates/schedules and collaborating on event planning.
- Attending donor engagement events.
- Managing annual and leadership level gift relationships and solicitations.
- Prioritizing and planning visits for potential donors or alumni.
- Developing and executing stewardship plans with campus partners.
- Creating detailed profiles and summaries for meetings.
- Crafting presentations and program documents from scratch.
- Establishing procedures and best practices for internal processes.
- Answering complex questions from colleagues and external parties.
- Providing input criteria for data pulls and validating the data.
- Manipulating data and converting it into useable information; creating and modifying complex spreadsheets to create informative summaries and presentations.
Education & Experience: HS diploma 9 years administrative experience, OR associate’s degree 7 years administrative experience, OR bachelor’s degree 4 years administrative experience
