Job Description
- Work with internal supervisors and managers to support recruitment efforts.
- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
- Coordinate employees' work assignments efficiently.
- Conduct background checks, verify employment eligibility through E-Verify, and handle HR documentation, including applications, accident reports, time-off requests, termination reports, etc.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on HR-related matters.
- Manage employees’ work hours using the HR system.
- Develop and implement a recruitment strategy.
- Counsel candidates on company benefits, salary, and work environment.
- Offer recruitment guidance and support to hiring supervisors and managers.
- Oversee and enhance corporate employment resources.
- Represent the company at job fairs and other employment events.
- Provide HR administrative support in areas such as compensation, benefits, employee onboarding, record-keeping, and compliance tracking.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic recruiting and/or HR principles.
- Ability to perform administrative work of a complex nature with a high degree of proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills with a focus on details and accuracy.
- A high degree of flexibility; proven ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple complex projects, and to work effectively and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with all levels in the organization and communicate effectively regarding sensitive and confidential matters.
- Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and customer-service orientation skills, with the motivation and ability to function independently or as a team member.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- College Associate degree
- More than two years of relevant administrative and recruitment experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
- Certification/License-related safety (BCSP, IHMM, ARM, OSHA, IPEP, IHMM, and more)
