Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in business development. This role requires a professional who can contribute to the growth and expansion of our business, particularly within the MRO supply sector and VMI operations in the battery or automobile industry.
Responsibilities
• Support VMI installation projects by managing contracts, sourcing, system integration, logistics, and warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both within and outside the company, to ensure efficientsetup, coordinate activities in related departments, and execute VMI operations.
• Report on project workflows, estimated outcomes, and risks to management, escalating issues as necessary.
• Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
• Manage customer purchase orders (POs), coordinate delivery schedules, and monitor and oversee payment processes for cost savings and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Oversee order flows and monitor purchase order statuses to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Assist in formulating and implementing procurement strategies to support business growth.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, cross-functional teams, vendors, and key stakeholders, ensuring exceptional supply chain efficiency for the customer.
• Support data analysis efforts to identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing corrective measures.
• Support senior management in various business development initiatives and projects.
• Get Reports on key procurement/deliveries/results on a weekly basis, and stay up to date on industry trends and supply base.
• Collect and voice options when the revision and/or establishment of new work procedures are needed.
• Demonstrated ability to report to work on a regular and consistent bases; and follow company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in supporting business development, sales, and procurement activities
• KOR/ENG Bilingual preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in business development.
• Must be able to work legally without visa sponsorship
