UIC Alaska seeks a highly skilled Video Telecommunications (VTC) Specialist to join our team in Aberdeen, MD.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Engineering Services: Provide technical engineering services to include developing written procedures, checklists, and instructions for technology use.
- System Solutions: Define system solutions based on user/client needs, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.
- Technology Research: Researches, identifies, selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery.
- Integration Strategies: Establishes, implements, and documents the technology integration or migration strategies.
- Advanced Technical Projects: Work on advanced, complex technical projects requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge.
- Off-Site Support: Provide off-site support when required; i.e., conferences, meetings, or any alternate sites where C4IM support is needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline.
- Relevant Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience. Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education.
- Security Clearance: Must hold an active security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
Physical Demands
- Lifting: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged Standing: Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
- Mobility: Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically.
