The Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Illinois Chicago is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery/Physician Surgeon.

Position Summary
This is a clinical practice position specializing in neurosurgery which may include any of the following subspecialties: cerebrovascular, spine, functional, oncology, vascular, pain or general neurosurgery. Must participate in clinical activities, teaching and potential research programs. Also must participate in training programs for residents and fellows.

Duties & Responsibilities

Clinical Practice to include outpatient clinical activities, surgical responsibilities, rounding, inpatient and telehealth consultations and call coverage

Education of residents, fellows, and medical students

Participate in departmental meetings and committees

Development of research programs

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
