Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer at UL Research Institutes, based in our Evanston, Illinois, office. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing digital and print content for various platforms, with a focus on digital design. This role necessitates a strong design aesthetic, sharp critical-thinking skills, and the ability to create impactful designs to meet the needs of our internal and external stakeholders. The Graphic Designer will work with the Creative Services clients to translate complex safety science information into impactful visuals that inform industry practices, safety procedures, and encourage behavior change. Working with fellow content creators, STEM professionals, and communications team members from across our organization, the Graphic Designer will tap into their creative toolkit to develop visual materials aligned with our brand.
What You’ll Learn And Achieve
- Plan, create, and edit digital and print content, including web graphics, social media, brochures, large-format print banners, collateral, educational documents, and more.
- Ensure all creative work and content adhere to the organization's brand guidelines, maintaining brand consistency and meeting high-quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Manage content schedules and streamline processes using project management tools like Monday.com.
- Utilize content management systems, such as Brandfolder and SharePoint, to organize, store, and maintain digital assets effectively.
- Perform other duties as directed.
