Pipe Layer Superintendent Daily Life
- Lead project operations including pipe laying crews on the jobsite with safety, quality and productive work
- Organize manpower and materials for efficient installation operations
- Work with Project Manager to prioritize work.
- Understand, use, and teach concepts, procedures, and practices common for Pipe Layers and Subcontractors.
- Outdoor work with all types of weather.
- Work safely.
Pipe Layer Superintendent Must Haves
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and grades.
- Knowledge of aggregates, pipe, structures, etc.
- Experience leading others
- Experience successfully laying and testing underground pipe including restrained joint, mechanical joint, push-joint ductile iron pipe, Hobas, HDPE, and concrete pipe.
- Previous experience with heavy machinery.
All candidates must pass a post-offer drug screening.
