The Opportunity
The Accounts Payable Supervisor leads an expanding team in a fast-paced, rapidly growing organization. This individual will oversee the accounts payable team while directing the processing of invoices, payments, purchase orders, asset setup, and vendor master file maintenance in accordance with established policies, procedures, and GAAP.
What You’ll Do
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Upholds the Purpose, Vision and Core Values of Ulteig.
- Leads and directs the work of others. Exercises consistent responsibility for supervisory functions, including but not limited to: interviewing, training employees, managing team hours and workload, directing work and work activities, evaluating and managing employee performance, and handling employee complaints or issues.
- Mentors and develops Accounts Payable team members and supports continuous professional development and growth.
- Attending meetings to represent Accounts Payable on various initiatives
- Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees reports regarding cash flow; ensures correct payments are made in a timely manner.
- Develops guidelines for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records.
- Coordinates workflow for Accounts Payable including delegation of invoices, purchase orders, payments, and expense reports.
- Acts as main point of contact for audit requests.
- Ensures proper recordkeeping of purchases for use in tax preparation and periodic audits.
- Owner of Ulteig’s 1099 reporting to the IRS and states on an annual basis.
- Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records to adhere to retention policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We Expect from You
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, with three or four years of accounts payable/accounting experience with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Microsoft Finance and Operations (F&O) experience preferred.
- Thorough understanding of accounts payable functions.
- Excellent supervisory and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to motivate staff.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $30.05 to $40.67 per hour
