Job Description:
As a Plumbing Dispatcher, you will play a vital role in managing the daily workflow of our plumbing jobs. You will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating service calls, communicating with customers and field technicians, and ensuring that all job details are properly documented and executed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians to service calls and job sites based on availability, skills, and job urgency.
- Monitor and track job progress, adjusting schedules as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Communicate with customers to confirm appointment times, job details, and any changes.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure necessary materials and parts are available for each job.
- Provide technicians with clear job details, locations, and necessary equipment.
- Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or last-minute changes in a proactive manner.
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, technician performance, and customer feedback.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and reporting as needed.
- Work closely with management to improve dispatch efficiency and overall operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or customer service (preferably in the plumbing, HVAC, or construction industry) is a plus
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to manage multiple service calls at once.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- general computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 12-8pm
- No nights or weekends required
