Ultimate Care NY is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to people leaders, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive and consistent experience for our employees. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the growth of our company by implementing best practices and driving HR processes.
Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, based on relevant experience.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM. Hybrid schedule with 4 days in-office at our Brooklyn HQ.
Responsibilities:Employee Relations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state, and federal regulations
- Manage conflict resolution, investigations, and employee complaints
- Oversee onboarding, terminations, off-boarding, and leave of absence management
- Support return-to-work plans and facilitate interactive conversations
Corrective Action & Performance Management
- Partner with leaders to address performance, behavior, and attendance issues
- Coach leaders on feedback, performance evaluations, and employee development
- Track and document performance actions, ensuring consistency in corrective measures
Organizational Design & Compensation
- Support leaders in team structure, headcount decisions, and job description creation
- Advise on compensation decisions and promotions
- Manage the Annual Performance Review process, ensuring consistency and timely completion
Change Management
- Collaborate on change strategies, policy updates, and new processes
- Assist in implementing organizational changes and ensure smooth transitions
- Communicate and manage feedback to align employees with organizational changes
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or professional HR certifications preferred
- 5 years of HR Generalist/HRBP experience; home care experience is a plus
- HR experience at a start up is a plus
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex HR/legal concepts
- Experience driving HR change, managing conflict, and coaching both managers and employees
- Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate across teams to meet deadlines
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with data and various HR platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
