Job Summary:
The Concrete Pump Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of concrete pumping equipment. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain concrete pump trucks.
- Set up, calibrate, and monitor pump settings to ensure accurate and efficient concrete distribution.
- Control the operation of the pump to adjust for volume, pressure, and placement accuracy.

- Inspect and prepare the worksite for safe and efficient pumping operations.
- Collaborate with construction teams to determine the best positioning of the pump.
- Assist in positioning the boom and hoses to deliver concrete to the desired locations.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations related to concrete pumping and construction site operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the pump equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment around the pump and delivery areas.
-Preform cleaning and general maintenance on equipment.
- Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, crew members, and other relevant parties.
- Document and report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
- Keep accurate records of pump operations, maintenance schedules, and concrete deliveries.
- Troubleshooting and Maintenance:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with the pump equipment as they arise.
- Perform routine maintenance on the pump and associated equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams or external service providers for more complex repairs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a concrete pump operator or in a similar role in the construction industry.
- Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for operating heavy machinery.
- Certification in concrete pumping operations (preferred but not required).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of concrete pump mechanics and operation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues on the job.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in construction and heavy equipment operation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
