Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
- Supervise and train office staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Oversee patient scheduling, billing, and collections to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper handling of medical terminology and documentation.
- Implement utilization management strategies to optimize patient care and resource allocation.
- Utilize software systems such as eClinicalWorks and Dentrix for effective office management.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities, including budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control measures.
- Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.
Experience
- Proven experience in a dental clinic or medical office management role is essential.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or similar practice management software is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and record-keeping practices.
- Experience in fiscal management and utilization management within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff alike.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
