What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Specialist position at Ultimate Linings LLC?
Job Duties:
- Working closely with Team Lead and Warehouse Manager, track and resolve wrong parts picked, extra parts picked, and missing parts.
- During the shift, the incumbent works closely with the Team Lead to report any inventory discrepancies over or below pre-determined amount.
- Maintains accurate inventory data in Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Identifies and researches inventory system discrepancies and errors.
- Verifies actual location and count of product in warehouse and corrects information in WMS.
- Creates Inventory Adjustments for Non-Production Departments.
- Correspond with Team Lead daily with inventory updates.
- Participate and suggest corrective actions to bring about positive changes in processes to ensure optimum results and efficiency.
- Operates various industrial powered equipment to transport product as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year minimum, combination of warehousing and inventory control.
- Must have a strong technical background and have a general understanding of the function and operation of inventory control.
- Must be team oriented, excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees.
- Must have strong organization, problem-solving and time management skills.
- Must be knowledgeable in matters relating to health and safety.
- Computer literate- Excel, Word, NetSuite.
- Must be familiar with ISO awareness, 5S and Kaizen practices.
