Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year (Base salary)
On-Track Earnings: $90,000 - $125,000 (Base Commission)

Job Description:
This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong sales experience, particularly in the electrical or construction industries. You will be responsible for building new client relationships, expanding our customer base, and driving business growth in your assigned territory.
As an Outside Sales/Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in our continued success, working closely with project managers and the leadership team to deliver exceptional service to existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development: Prospect, generate, and close new business opportunities within the electrical and construction industries.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, and customers.
- Market Analysis: Identify and assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to ensure we remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our services and product offerings to effectively present solutions to clients.
- Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to create new leads and business opportunities.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate sales activity reports, customer records, and project pipelines using CRM software.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and client satisfaction.
- Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs to ensure business growth and profitability.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in outside sales, business development, or a related field (experience in electrical, construction, or similar industries is preferred).
- Strong ability to prospect, develop, and close sales opportunities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Highly organized, self-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company car provided).
- Ability to work Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
