Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Program Manager to join their client's team in Connecticut. This role is integral in executing the manager's vision and overseeing high-level projects that require confidentiality and strategic execution. The Program Manager will ensure effective coordination, communication, and execution of priorities across the office, making sure that the manager's schedule is efficiently implemented by managing executive priorities, overseeing strategic initiatives, and optimizing workflow within the team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for executing the manager's vision and managing confidential and high-level projects.
- Ensures effective coordination, communication, and execution of priorities across the office.
- Manages executive priorities, oversees strategic initiatives, and optimizes workflow within the team.
- Ensures institutional priorities are executed effectively and translates the manager's vision into action.
- Works closely with leadership, internal and external colleagues, and community residents to develop new initiatives supporting the organization's strategic direction.
- Develops an annual budget and operating plan to support the program, ensuring operations within the approved budget and managing all program and project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures.
- Manages human resource and administrative functions, including staffing and hiring, supervision, performance development, and counseling.
- Oversees and manages information systems, facilities, and space needs.
- Initiates, designs, and manages program communications, identifies outreach potential, and promotes philanthropic and collaborative support of the program.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 year experience in executive strategy, project management and leadership preferably in an academic setting.
- Prior Chief of Staff or similar executive support experience preferred.
- Experience working directly with deans, provosts or senior university administrators.
Work Hours/Pay
8:30AM- 5:00PM, $35 per hour
