Key responsibilities and deliverables
As a pivotal Leader of the Assistant Center Team, your responsibilities will be wide ranging including but not limited to:
- Utilize the Service Now platform to assess and assign each fee earner request
- Supervise the workflow of the Assistant Center Team, create team schedules and delegate tasks
- Assess the work performance of employees and identify areas that need improvement
- Participate in the performance appraisal process in collaboration with HR
- Manage Assistant team schedule
- Generate reporting on utilization
- Maintain target SLAs established by team management, troubleshoot and problem solve as necessary
- Provide coaching and training as needed to Assistant team demonstrating knowledge of Freshfields resources and reinforcing best practices and procedures
- Ensure high quality support is being provided and gathering feedback as needed
- Be an ambassador for the US Assistant Center Support Team to fee earners
- Foster high standards of client service
- Participate in recruiting and onboarding efforts
- Work closely with US team management on performance related matters
- Project work as requested to include calendar management, booking domestic and international travel for Executives, setting up meeting rooms, approving expense reports, etc.
Key requirements (Communication/skills/experience)
Essential
- Associates' degree/Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience and demonstrated leadership
- 3-5 years of administrative support experience in the legal or professional services industry.
- Strong technical skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel as well as the ability to learn additional programs used by the support team.
- Ability to learn and implement best practices for support as outlined during training and coaching sessions.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
