HVAC Superintendent
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Superintendent to join our team, specializing in multi-family construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including refrigeration lines, rectangular and spiral ductwork, and low-voltage wiring. This role requires leadership, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all HVAC aspects of multi-family construction projects
- Oversee the installation of refrigeration lines, ductwork (rectangular and spiral), and low-voltage systems
- Manage crews, assign tasks, and ensure on-time, quality work
- Assist in project bidding and estimating HVAC scopes of work
- Coordinate material orders and ensure timely deliveries to job sites
- Enforce safety protocols and company policies on all sites
- Maintain project documentation and progress reports
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience
- Proven experience in multi-family construction preferred
- Refrigerant Certification required
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Must be able to pass mandatory physical and drug screening
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites in the Los Angeles area
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Flexibility required: some projects may start as early as 7:00 AM and end as late as 4:30 PM
