We are seeking a talented Legal Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist to join a law practice in DC.
This role manages the full hiring process for attorneys and staff, collaborating with practice leaders to ensure a smooth experience for candidates and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and new hire paperwork.
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies with the HR Director.
- Partner with managers and the Recruiting Committee to meet hiring objectives.
- Coordinate summer/fall recruitment, liaising with law schools and organizing events.
- Assist with onboarding, pre-employment testing, reference checks, and exit interviews.
- Support HR policy interpretation and maintain confidential personnel records.
- Assist with benefits administration and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (HR or recruiting certification preferred).
- 3 years of HR/recruiting experience in a law firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ADP Workforce Now and applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
Required Education and Experience
* A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is requested. A certification in HR or recruiting is strongly preferred
* 3 years previous Human Resources or Recruiting experience in a law firm
Additional Qualifications
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
* Experience or familiarity with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
