A manufacturing mechanic, also known as an industrial machinery mechanic or maintenance technician, is a skilled worker who specializes in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment used in manufacturing processes. They ensure that equipment functions properly, preventing downtime and ensuring smooth production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: This includes routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairing malfunctioning equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic issues with machinery.
- Installation and Dismantling: Setting up new equipment, and dismantling or moving existing machinery.
- Component Replacement: Replacing worn-out or broken parts with new ones.
- Calibration and Adjustment: Ensuring equipment operates at optimal performance levels.
- Safety: Adhering to safety regulations and procedures when working with machinery.
- Record Keeping: Documenting maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Types of Machinery Worked On:
- Manufacturing Machinery: CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, presses, robotic systems, and other automated equipment.
- Conveyor Systems: Systems for transporting materials within a factory or warehouse.
- Packaging Machinery: Machines used for filling, sealing, labeling, and packaging products.

Work Schedule:
This position requires working from Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday on the 2nd or 3rd shift.
