Medical Case Reviewer / Analyst

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Case Reviewer/Analyst for a client located in Oldsmar. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player with critical thinking skills, who excels in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing medical data and billing records using patented, industry-leading software applications. This role is perfect for individuals who have experience in medical billing and coding and are familiar with medical terminology. Note that this position does not involve performing any billing or coding.

• Prepare, review, and analyze medical data and billing records using proprietary software applications.
• Develop case summaries by reading, understanding, and preparing medical records.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of medical terminology.
• Exhibit excellent computer skills, including the ability to navigate various software applications.
• Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Contribute as a team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality improvement.
• Show a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and excellent time management skills.
• Continuously learn new medical knowledge and concepts.
• Ability to stand/sit for long durations daily.
• Possess strong grammatical and proofreading skills.
• Previous experience preparing medical record summaries is advantageous.
• Applicants with experience as a litigation paralegal for personal injury and medical malpractice cases are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with direct patient care experience or credentials as a medical professional (LPN, RN, Medical Assistant with specialty practice experience) for 5 years and/or experience working as a paralegal/legal assistant with a history of preparing medical summaries are highly regarded.

Pay: $20/Hour
