Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a dedicated and resourceful Job Developer to join their client's team in Minnesota. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing employment opportunities and guiding program participants through the job acquisition process. This position requires a professional who can work collaboratively with staff members and create best practices for job placement activities.
- Sourcing paid integrated and competitive employment for clients and guiding them through the job acquisition process.
- Working collaboratively with other staff members, assisting in creating best practices for job placement activities.
- Demonstrating independent decision-making, planning, and follow-through.
- Maintaining effective and professional communication with individuals inside and outside of the organization
- Facilitating positive relationships with community partners and promoting the organization whenever possible.
- Visiting participant employers at least once monthly to ensure accurate communication and problem-solving with employers to assist both employee and employer in having a positive work experience.
- Recording student information and evaluating student performance electronically as required.
- Supporting onboarding, training, and coaching for Job Developers.
- Attending performance evaluations, coaching, or corrective action meetings, as needed or requested by employee or manager.
- Coordinating with external providers including transportation, vocational, and social security wage reporting as requested.
- Providing training to local organizations and national affiliates.
- Documenting client services in case notes, Employment Plans, and Service Hours Agreements, etc.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, Social Work, or related field preferred
- Experience as a job developer, employment/vocational specialist, or related position, working with individuals with learning differences and autism spectrum disorders preferred but not required
- Familiarity with the local employment market is a plus.
- Excellent people and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote a culture of mutual respect and teamwork

- Maintain confidentiality of organizational, employer and participant information
- Demonstrate professionalism in work performance and communication with others
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong oral and written communication skills
