The Role
The Microsoft Modern Workplace Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and adoption of Microsoft's Modern Workplace solutions, including Microsoft 365, Office 365, Teams, and related technologies. This role requires a forward-thinking and strategic leader who can effectively manage a sales team, develop and execute sales strategies, and foster strong relationships with clients and partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and growth goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, market trends, and potential areas for growth within the Modern Workplace domain.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions that drive business value.
- Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to enhance the overall customer experience and ensure the successful delivery of Modern Workplace solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and guidance on how to leverage Microsoft's Modern Workplace technologies to achieve their business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
- Implement effective forecasting and pipeline management processes to ensure accurate sales projections and resource allocation.
- Continuously assess and refine sales processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices.
Competencies
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the technology software sector (with a focus on Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions preferred).
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft's Modern Workplace technologies, including Microsoft 365, Office 365, and Teams.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices, with the ability to apply them effectively in various contexts.
Nice-to-Haves
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft technologies, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
