At Ultimus Fund Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing business and financial information, preparing analysis and reports, and driving decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting and finance principles, as well as exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be able to distill complex data into actionable insights, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing proforma pricing and profitability analysis on new business opportunities
- Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
- Preparing ad hoc financial analyses and KPI reporting
- Developing and maintaining various spreadsheets and dashboards for monthly financial and KPI reporting
- Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
- Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis; assisting in preparing presentations for senior leadership
- Coordinating with members of the management team to update financial information and forecasts
- Preparing weekly sales and pipeline reporting out of Salesforce
- Assisting with the preparation of quarterly board reporting
Requirements for success include:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-10 years of combined experience in FP&A, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of Financial Services industry experience
Essential skills and qualifications include:
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel (pivots & lookups) and MS PowerPoint
- Business savvy with a strong inclination to understand the what, hows, and why's of the business and its financials
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build working relationships with all levels of management and stakeholders
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and NetSuite ERP, NetSuite PBCS, and Salesforce
